My name is Richard Ruehle and I live in Findlay, Ohio. I have been woodturning since I retired in 1998. I owned a couple of trucking companies and a warehousing company. I, like most people, started turning small items like pens, letter openers, etc. As my skills improved I started turning bowls, platters, vases, hollow forms, and natural-edge items up to 24" in diameter. I use woods from around the world as well as domestic species. I use a lot of burl woods and import woods from Australia.
I have a small local gallery and feature my craft at local and regional art fairs and juried art shows. I am further developing my craft and adding new objects all the time. Check back often to see what's new.
